Innovation Jiu Jitsu is owned & managed by Lee Kirtley. Lee is a Multi time Gold medalist in BJJ, No-Gi Grappling & Judo. He was awarded his BJJ Black belt in 2019 by Prof Ze Radiola & Professor Alain Pozo at the famous Balaton BJJ camp in Hungary. Innovation Jiu Jitsu first opened its doors in 2015 & soon became one of the best Academies in the UK, they can proudly state they have tutored British champions, national champions & European champions who have represented Innovation Jiu Jitsu on the largest competition stages. Everyone is welcome at the Academy, from beginners to expert. all ages are welcome, kids from 4 years old to adults of any age, Memberships are flexible & they offer a variety of options and tariffs. Innovation has one of the best atmospheres of any Academy, and Lee's charisma and personality are evident the minute you walk through the door, there is a great friendly spirit in the gym, everyone is happy to help each other and mutual respect is at the forefront of everyone’s approach.

Been a god send having this place next to my home, I've trained here for a only a short while and the passion I'm getting for bjj again is a massive blessing for me, Lee and his father Paul who is also a very knowledgeable black belt and coach have helped me a lot I can't express how much the lessons and details I'm getting from them is already leveling my game up, I've trained since 2010 in different gyms and I can honestly say the fine details in the techniques here are next level, The competition record over the years from the gym shows that and its evident by all the gold medals on the wall when you walk in! Good place to train

Innovation is such a great place to start learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The beginners' class is super friendly and welcoming, so you don’t feel out of place, even if it’s your first time. Lee and the other coaches have been amazing —they’re really patient and explain things in a way that’s easy to understand, no matter your fitness level or experience. The classes are well put together, mixing learning the basics with a decent workout, so you leave feeling like you’ve achieved something. If you’re thinking about giving BJJ a go, I’d definitely recommend Innovation Jiu-Jitsu Academy
