Roger Gracie Academy Darlington opened its doors in March 2022. Head Coach Jakub Niski has trained since 2015 in RGA HQ, London directly under Roger Gracie and Mauricio Gomes. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience having trained and competed at the highest level. Jakub is a multiple IBJJF and UAEJJF medalist.

Brian relocated from Canada in 1997 and brings with him 40 years experience competing in and teaching both traditional and non-traditional fighting arts. A black belt under 10th Planet founder Eddie Bravo, he has opened multiple 10th Planet programs including ones for military and law enforcement.
